A Message from Our Founder
Hey, future Working Holiday adventurer.
I'm Peta. Company founder, Mum of 4 and occasional English-speaking guide here in Japan, and I want to help you make the most of your Working Holiday or short term stay.
My first long-term stay in Japan back in 2014? A Working Holiday visa. And honestly, it was wonderful. The application process was surprisingly straightforward, I had the flexibility to work, study Japanese, and travel all at once, and it gave me a real chance to figure out if Japan was the place for me.
I won't sugarcoat it, life in Japan isn't always easy. The language can be a real challenge for English speakers. Short-term jobs, housing options, and registration paperwork can feel completely overwhelming at first. But here's the thing: it is absolutely worth it.

I've lived in Japan full-time since coming in 2014. My husband is Japanese, and together with an amazing team, we run a group of travel related companies (Travel Hokkaido and Japan Beyond) based right here in Hokkaido. We're often looking for short-term and part-time team members who are in Japan on a Working Holiday visa.
Over the years, we've welcomed so many amazing individuals as part of their gap year or internship journey and we put a lot of love into making that experience fun, hands-on, and genuinely meaningful.
This program was built for people like you, people who are seriously considering a Working Holiday in Japan and want real, honest guidance. Whether or not Hokkaido ends up being your destination, we hope it helps and inspires you.

What's Included
Your Accommodation
We will handle arrangements for your accommodation while in Hokkaido. You will have your own room in an apartment, specially chosen by our staff for easy travel to the office, airport, or city center for any work that may come up.
Creative Office Space
Modest office space designed for collaboration with natural light, great colleagues, and positive energy. Conveniently located on a major subway line in Sapporo allowing for easy access into the city center for work or leisure.
Real Connections and Support
Work in office with a small international team, out in the field with a team of friendly Japanese drivers, & meet travelers from all over the world.
